How to spot bad management advice

Combine the complexity of human behavior with the incentives of a content economy, and there is a TON of bad management advice floating around. Beware.

Fortunately, Jonathan and Melissa Nightingale are an exception—and they recently broke down the good, bad, and ugly in their excellent newsletter, Raw Signal. I particularly respect that they focus on the distribution of power that shapes orgs and teams—and how that impacts employees. With this lens, it becomes easier to discern between wise counselor and charlatan.
