Poem: A Meteor Goes to Work

A Meteor Goes to Work

It is very difficult
to scan the skies
to crane my neck
to feel this small
and still worry

about that budget
that meeting
that email
that deadline
that error

that thing from work
that I just can't shake,
and—oh, look!
did you see it too?!
(exhale and clock out)

Experimental collaboration with @stuartgunter. We traded art last month, and each added a new layer to the other person’s original sketch. Such a fun practice!
